2019 Housing and Subcounty Population Estimates Released

May 21, 2020. The U.S. Census Bureau released its 2019 housing unit and subcounty population estimates today.

The release contained subcounty population estimates from 2010 to 2019. Urban Honolulu Census Designated Place (CDP) is the only subcounty area in Hawaii for which the Bureau provides population estimates on an annual basis. Housing unit estimates for the state and all its counties are also available.

These latest estimates are now available on our DBEDT website. DBEDT highlights for the subcounty and the housing data may also be accessed there.
