Census

September 14, 2023. The U.S. Census Bureau released the 2022 American Community Survey (ACS) 1-year estimates today. The release includes information on population and their social, economic and housing characteristics for areas with populations of 65,000 or more. The 2022 ACS one-year estimates are available on data.census.gov, which is the Census Bureau’s platform to access data and digital content.

Several new tables were added for housing and for field of degree. New housing tables include estimates on structure type and on the number of bedrooms by housing unit occupancy status. New tables in field of degree include estimated median earnings by field of first bachelor’s degree by sex and by age.
