Census

The U.S. Census Bureau released the first set of 2010-2020 Intercensal population and housing unit estimates on November 7, 2024. They revise the prior decade’s estimates to align with the 2020 decennial census.

Total resident population estimates are available for the State of Hawaii, its counties, and the Urban Honolulu CDP. Total housing unit estimates are available for the State of Hawaii and its counties.

Intercensal estimates by demographic characteristics (age, sex, race and Hispanic origin) are planned for release in 2025.
