Governor David Y. Ige announces Hawaii Government Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census

On April 1, 2019, Governor David Y. Ige announced the formation of the Hawaii Government Complete Count Committee (HGCCC), which will coordinate state and county government efforts to encourage Hawaii residents to be counted during the 2020 Census. In support of the Committee’s efforts, Gov. Ige and Lt. Gov. Josh Green proclaimed April 1, 2019 as 2020 CENSUS DAY in Hawaii. Gov. Ige and Lt. Gov. Green encourage every Hawaii resident to participate in activities related to the 2020 Census, which includes participation in the count.
