2018 Housing Unit and Subcounty Population Estimates for Hawaii Released

May 23, 2019. The U.S. Census Bureau released its 2018 housing unit and subcounty population estimates today.

The release contained subcounty population estimates from 2010 to 2018. Urban Honolulu Census Designated Place (CDP) is the only subcounty area in Hawaii for which the Bureau provides population estimates on an annual basis. Housing unit estimates for the state and all its counties are also available.

These latest estimates are now available on our DBEDT website. DBEDT highlights for the subcounty and the housing data may also be accessed there.
