A note on the data

Due to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Population Estimates Program could not use the 2020 decennial census as the population estimates base. Instead, the Vintage 2021 Population Estimates were constructed using a Blended Base of 2020 Decennial Census results, 2020 Demographic Analysis estimates, and Vintage 2020 Postcensal Population Estimates. See the Vintage 2021 Release Notes and the Methodology Statement for more information on these changes.
