1-Year Experimental Data

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on data collection efforts, the U.S. Census Bureau was unable to release the ACS 1-year estimates as a standard product. Instead, the Census Bureau released a select number of experimental estimates for the nation, states, and the District of Columbia. 

The tables can be viewed on the Census Bureau’s Experimental Data page.

5-Year Data (including all geographic areas down to the block group level)

In response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on data collection efforts, the Census Bureau took additional time to evaluate and revise their methodology around non-response bias. With these changes in methodology, the 5-year ACS data meet the Census Bureau’s standards for full release.

Data Profiles

Data are available to download as an Excel file. Each file contains 4 sheets: DP2 (Social Characteristics), DP3 (Economic Characteristics), DP4 (Housing Characteristics), and DP5 (Demographic and Housing Estimates). Links to the original tables on https://data.census.gov are also included.
